It began with a builder and a plumber.
Empire was founded by Enzo Giallonardo, a licensed builder, and Michael Carn, a licensed plumber, drainer and waterproofer. Between them they hold the trades a bathroom renovation actually lives or dies on. Most companies are fit-out businesses that bring in a builder for structural work and a separate certifier for waterproofing. Enzo and Mike built Empire to be the opposite, one company that holds the licences, employs the trades, and takes responsibility for the whole job.
